Character Name: Miles Morales
Series: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Character History: Wiki link
Character Canon Point: Sometime after his fight with Kingpin, but before the portal to another world opens over his bed
Personality: For the most part, Miles is just like any other teenager. He is friendly and outgoing, and enjoys having fun and spending his time listening to his favorite music to unwind. He can be a bit awkward at times, and often covers it up with jokes and sarcasm. He is also very intelligent and creative, which he expreses through his art. Occasionally he can be a little rebellious; despite being the son of a cop (or maybe even because of it), at times he bends or breaks rules, such as leaving graffiti-style inspired stickers around town or sneaking out past curfew.
Llike many teenagers his age, though, Miles spends a great deal of time just trying to figure himself out. Despite his intelligence, he doubted being good enough to attend the academy he tested into, even going so far as trying to get kicked out by failing an exam he knew all the answers to. His uncertainty only grew after receiving the spider-bite, feeling the pressure of trying to follow in the footsteps of the fallen Spider-Man, and especially when meeting the other Spider-heroes. His worries about not being good enough come from a fear of disappointing those who are expecting things from him, and of letting down the people he cares about.
Even so, Miles still has a strong sense of what is right. And while his fears sometimes come in conflict with his actions, he never forgets the things that are important to him. Keeping the promises he's made, protecting his family and his home, and not wanting to see his friends get hurt are things that drive him, and push him past the anxieties that can only hold him down for so long. But while the people he cares for inspire him, ultimately he learns that their expectations of him are not as important as what he expects of himself. He comes to realize that his abilities and his gifts are only as good as how he chooses to use them; that even if his powers aren't all unique, and even if he's not the only Spider-hero, the path he forges is entirely his own.
There are still many things Miles is coming to understand about his identity, both as Spider-Man and as himself. But with the support of his family and friends, he can find the confidence to try, and to take that leap of faith.
Abilities: Miles' powers
Six Items:
- His Spider-suit (with webshooters)

- His laptop (with charger)
- Cans of spray paint
Character Samples:
Sample 1: Miles on the TDM
Sample 2:
[ As the feed turns on, a young teen with dark hair and wearing headphones is seated at a desk, and it looks like he has the flux phone propped up against something as he twirls a marker between his fingers in one hand, his chin resting in his free hand. ]
Hey guys, Miles here. ¿Qué pasa?
So, does anyone know how much we're allowed to, uh...redecorate our houses? I know they were pretty much handed to us, but do you think anyone would get mad if we wanted to, say, repaint or something?
...asking for a friend.
